Can anyone tell me how long you have pain after ileostomy surgeryx?

i wish i knew when it would quit! i have pain more days then not and have been to many Drs and specialists in the past 2 years since i got the illeostomy. i have many answers from them but tests and xrays,cat scans have provided many different answers but no help at all.the last one i went to was a colon and bowel specialist and he came to the conclusion it was a chronic pain i would always have. that sure doesnt help any when i have days it is so bad i want to give up! so now the end of this week iam going to a pain clinic and thats all they specialize in so i say a constant prayer that they will be able to help me. i dont know anyone that has gone to a pain clinic but i have my hopes really high!!

I just finished reading the Ostomy Tips Book under COLLECTIONS at the top of the page. I did not realize how much information was there. It covers a lot
