I have a scope wednesday and i'm just curious how that goes with a stoma? Also did you have to do all the prep?

BTW, I'm no stranger to scopes this is my second one this year but the first since surgery.  Crossing my fingers that the Stelara is working.

Last scope I had I didn’t have to do the prep, I couldn’t have solid food for 24 hours beforehand and nothing at all after midnight the day of the scope. I remember they said I could have popsicles and I ate a whole bag full of the banana ones. No problems going thru the stoma and it was over in no time. Good luck

Every morning when I enjoy my big cup of coffee I scroll through this site and this warm feeling just overwhelms me.

I never post anything (too shy and it feels like I don’t have anything of interest to share tbh) but I sure read a lot of posts from you guys and they are so informative, supportive encouraging and so so full of love and a big dose of humor.

I feel like part of the best family in the world (even though I am just sitting quietly in the corner lol).

I just wanted to share that feeling and say thanks to all of you for being so wonderful.

And also, please keep some fingers crossed for me this week. I have my blood test on Thursday, checking my CA 125 levels. Ovarian cancer reoccurrence fear unlocked again. I hate it!

Lots of love from Sweden

I had a scope in Nov,  I did the prep before but it was different,  Two small bottle's one the nite before and the other the next morning.  It amounted to about 1 and 1/2 cup of fluid each time  it was carbonated,, but wasen't bad tasting.  then they went thru my stoma also.    I don't remember a thing.
