Picked up some black Rit fabric dye and am going to try dyeing a couple of my Hollister skin-colored bags black. I'm pretty sure the fuzzy fabric covering will take dye, but haven't figured out what to do about the bottom plastic part of the bag yet. Tried coloring it with a Sharpie and that looks like crap, so will need a plan B for that part. But might as well make sure the body ...

I would like to know, has anyone out there used pouch covers and were they any good or just a waste of time?
I am thinking of getting some, so I would like your feedback on this.

Just want to share that I use an item which has made ostomy pouch maintenance a breeze. The product is flushable ostomy pouch liners. Not suitable for septic tanks. The liner is inserted into the pouch from the top. When a change is required, simply pull the liner out at the top of the pouch and throw it into the toilet. No fuss, no muss. Full instructions for use come with the package.

So I was looking on Amazon for pouch covers when Looking Forward mentioned them in her post. They are expensive! So I thought I would whip up a few to see how it goes. Does anyone use an ostomy bag cover? I just ordered one off of Amazon. I am looking for something to muffle the sounds of crinkling that the pouch makes. It sounds like plastic because of course it is. Also, I don't really want to share with the world what is in my pouch at any given time. Others think it's worth the money?

I recently discovered black ostomy pouches from Salts Medical UK. I see that you can also get them in Canada.
Has anyone used them in the US? I can't seem to find a Salts supplier in the US and would really like a black opaque ostomy pouch. I really am not a fan of the tan color and most likely why I like Coloplast so much with their gray pouches. I also loathe the transparent pouches.
