Best shirts to hide your baggage?

This topic is all about finding the right shirt styles and clothing tricks to keep an ostomy pouch discreet. If you're looking for ways to feel comfortable and confident while keeping your pouch out of sight, here are some helpful suggestions:

1. Consider using suspenders with larger-waist trousers. This allows you to tuck both your shirt and pouch in securely, making any roomy T-shirt work well.

2. For summer tank-top weather, try oversized tall tank tops by buying them three sizes up. This keeps the pouch outside the pants but fully covered. Pairing them with a shorter 10-inch pouch instead of the standard 12-inch one can reduce length and bulk.

3. Button-down shirts designed to be worn untucked, with a straight hem, can be a good option. Compare their length to a shirt you know works well, and retire any that come up short to sleepwear.

4. Casual layering can help with concealment. Try a long-sleeve tee with a contrasting short-sleeve tee over it, or a polo over a white T-shirt for added length.

5. For formal events, consider using a Stealth Belt to keep the pouch horizontal, allowing for a tucked-in look.

6. Camp-style and guayabera shirts, like Cubavera square-hem shirts, eliminate the need to tuck. Columbia fishing shirts offer a similar loose, long cut for casual days.

7. Compression tops under regular shirts provide gentle support and stop pouch sway. Inexpensive options like Tesla or Dr. Skin compression shirts are available online. Choose a size that’s snug but breathable.

8. Soccer jerseys can offer the right length and fit for covering a pouch while remaining untucked.

9. For a homemade solution, create an internal fabric pocket inside a T-shirt. Cut a piece from old tees and attach it with iron-on adhesive, positioning it just left of the navel to hold the pouch and prevent accidental exposure when outer layers ride up.
