Leakage Control Tips for Traveling

When I travel anywhere grocery shopping, sightseeing in the local area, or long-distance traveling, I take 2 mini pads and fold them sticky sides together and absorbing sides outside. Tuck them in my clean pouch and let the pads absorb the exiting liquid from my stoma. I feel safe and can go a lot longer time before emptying the pouch and then adding 2 fresh mini pads.

A great idea that works! I do the same sort of thing on the outside to absorb any leakagesfrom my stoma plug. But since I've been doing that, the pressure from the pad has stopped the leaks anyway.

The leak has no sympathy. LOL! The bastard can strike at any time.

I feel more secure wearing an ostomy belt. It helps hold my two-piece system together and in place.
