Try not eating any sugar or salt, use honey or sea salt if need be, sugar and salt will ferment in you stomach and cause gas and heartburn. There is a great product called "Beano" you add a few drops in your food, prevents you from getting gas, works great.
Hope this helps.

It is probably diet related and could be due to the type and combination of meds that you take.

BEANO (chew two or three tablets prior to eating) or simethecone - the strongest you can get

I second that Beano comment! My mother has bad IBS and she swears by a few drops of beano at each meal. It's great for excess gas!

Fizzy drinks do it for me...as far as the smell...try putting a couple tic tacs in your bag.  Heard this works...haven't tried it..

Hi, you seem to be having lots of trouble.  First of all I would suggest a 2 piece system and then when you go get gas in the bag you can burp it in private to release the gas.  Most important use M9 deodorant drops you put about 10 drops in the bag, and you'll never get a smell..ever, ever.  I've been doing this for 24 years and believe there is nothing I haven't learned from..Try these things and if ever you need to laugh, it's now..good luck, Pat PS you can get M9 drops the same place you get your ostomy supplies.
