She says she can fix the stoma, no problem, and will try to fix the parastomal hernia. We will see; I am hopeful. My surgery is outpatient, so I'll be home later today!

Home and all seems to be well, passing gas and a little stool into the bag they attached. They did not send me home with anything, so I called the Convatec nurse, and she is sending me a new option to sample and a post-revision surgery welcome home packet. I just checked the bag they installed, and it is a Convatec 2-piece. So far, the pain has been minimal and managed by the low-dose oxy they gave me. I have more and will start the Miralax at dinner tonight. I seem pretty steady on my feet, just sleepy. I want to thank all the people here who helped me go with the revision, and I hope it will stay a little stuck out and my skin around it will really heal. Thank you! Edit to update that she did not repair the parastomal hernia as it would have required more cutting, and she assessed that it wasn't being a problem. Probably makes my recovery easier.
