Still haven't had my endoscopy. I'm still in pain when my stoma is active after food. My professor, whom I have for my IBS, seems to think it's that. I got put back on Buscopan injections, as they helped last time, but they only helped me for one day. The day after, I'm still in pain after having injected before eating. I'm getting fed up with it all now. It doesn't help that my husband has absent seizures and is not good at the minute. My stress levels the other day were horrendous, but we keep on going. Thanks for this site and friends I class as family. xxx

Hang in there, Kerry. It's only human to get fed up and down from time to time. Then we go on...

I hope they can locate your problem and fix it soon. You shouldn't be in so much pain.

Angelica- As usual, you've written another interesting post. February 5th, 2019, was my reversal surgery after having an ileo for 6 months. I'm one of those fortunate success stories. Of course, things are different now, and I still have to be careful about what and how much I eat, as I don't have a colon. At first, I was afraid to leave the house. My biggest fear was having to use a public bathroom and have the toilet not flush! Even now, when I know that I'll be in someone else's home, I won't eat anything beforehand. I read other people's stories and sometimes feel guilty for having had it so easy, not to mention that I have a significant other who is 100 percent supportive. I've gotten so much out of this website and truly feel for those of you who have it so much worse than I. But I feel it necessary to let folks hear about the success stories.

It's so stressful to be in pain, especially when your partner is also not feeling well. I hope you get the help you need very soon. Please keep us posted.
