I've had an ileostomy for 10 years using All Kare 51037439. It worked well. I recently found it was discontinued. I've yet to find a suitable substitute. Is there something that actually works?

I'm not familiar with the brand you were using, so I don't have suggestions.

Try calling the major manufacturers and talking to a stoma nurse. They can recommend the closest products in their line to what you've been using and send you free samples to try out. Call them all and get stuff from everyone.

There are people on this site who've liked and been successful with all of them. It is really very personal, and what works for one may not work for you.

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I have to admit this website does seem very friendly and helpful.

I will definitely log into chat as soon as I can and see who is around. Looking forward to meeting some like-minded people! :)

Houston, we've got a problem.😁..

Hello. Welcome. Good to have you.

Someone posted this same exact topic not long ago. Members chimed in. It might help to rephrase your topic using that brand name instead of "adhesive."

Gotta be eye-catching with the topic. Not vague.

Try it. And good luck.

G-Day TR6C,

I looked your product up, and it appears to be a Barrier Wipe. I use a spray barrier called Welland Barrier Spray WBS050, and after spraying it on, I let it dry 100%, and it works very well.

I've used Cavilon wipes #3344 forever. Best ones I've found. No smell, no residue.
