Guys, I had a temporary ileostomy bag last year in April, so early this year in February, after all the tests had been done, they came back with good news. My colorectal surgeon scheduled my reversal date to be on the 2nd of June. He then went on leave towards the end of May. When I went to the hospital for admission, I found out that he was still on leave, so they postponed my appointment to the 16th of July. Again, he said no beds were available; it's full, and for that, I can't be admitted. Guys, they keep on postponing until today. I'm so disappointed and hurt. What should I do? Please help because it seems unfair to me now, or maybe I'm rushing things; I don't know. The hospital I'm talking about is a public hospital.

Nervous but excited about tomorrow. I have been reading some of the threads here and am brand new to the site. I am grateful to have had the ileostomy so my body had a chance to heal but am truly hoping all goes well with the operation and future.
I have a collapsed disk in my back and sleeping on it for the past 7 months because of the bag has caused me constant daily excruciating pain. I haven't slept through the night and have had so many accidents.
I am so glad I found this site. Gained so much information so I am much better prepared for what happens post operation and what worked for people diet and supplement (fiber) wise. Thank you for that.
