Hi there,  I have an ileostomy and use a product that is a clear plastic adhesive ring seal called "Sure Seal Rings" made by Active Lifestyle Products Inc.  It protects the flange from water and moisture.  I use them whenever I go swimming and diving.  They work great!!
Hopefully they will work just as well for you and you can enjoy your rendezvous with the dolphins.  Enjoy!!

I take part in these forums almost every day. They and the people that contribute to them have made all the difference in my having the courage to live a normal life with an ileostomy. The people here are marvelous and come from all walks of life and from all over the world. Hearing what others have lived through has really helped me put my own experience in perspective. I highly recommend all ostomates and caretakers of ostomates to come join us.

as long as you have already found a flange that give you a tight seal I say dont worry about it and have a great time -just always take twice as many supplies as you would think you would need. If you would like to spend a lot of time in the water i would suggest using some water-proof tape on top of you barrier tape -i get a full 7 days wear time (at least) our of a flange, but the tape 9 time out of 10 is starting to peel off long before then, and thus have to use additional tape to prevent it from continuing to lose its tack

you might want to consider "irrigating" a high % of people with colostomies do -as a way to control their output. Ive heard of some that will irrigate in the morning and just wear a stoma cap during tht day, then only snap on the bag at night as an extra precaution.

P.S. Room for one more?"
