Love is a variety of different feelings, states and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection. Such as, "I Love my mother,".  Or pleasure,  I love that man/women.

Strong affection for another rising out of kindship, personal ties, maternal love for a child and or attraction based on beauty or someother appealing aspect.

Love is one of the most profound emotions known  to human beings. There are so many kinds of love but most people seek it's expression in  a romantic relationship with a compatible partner.

Masters of love-Science says lasting relationships come down to, " you guessed it," kindness and generosity. True love is when you are depressed and sickly when you not with her or him.

You feel like you have no meaning or purpose without her or him. What is love? Understand the real meaning of love through the eyes of a true lover. The definition of love is more complex than you can imagine.

What is the meaning of love? Most peole would love to have real love. Yet they have no idea of what real love is. The reason that it's hard to define real love is because you can't experience it with your mind and definitions are of the mind. Love means not needing constant contact, in person or text to feel secure. It means trusting them in everyway possible and earning their trust in you.

Love can also mean living your own life to the fullest. Always being yourself and never shifting to fit another person standards. Love is a choice. For instance, kowing you would do anything for someone else, that's love. Enjoying time spent together although it's a part of love, a truly loving relationship is a give and take!

Missy 2 said, " L is the way he looks at me, O is for the one I see, V is very extraodinary and E is even more that you adore."

Now that I have expressed my thoughts about love, what's yours?

Love is,

Bill : Hello Angelicamarie.
Thank you for yet another interesting post. You are so right in saying that Love has many different meanings for different individuals and some people confuse their own 'wants' and desires by disguising that love of themselves we call narcissism.
My own take on 'love' is that it is yet another emotion that generally lacks cerebral control and can therefore be wayward force sometimes ending in disastrous results.
Sometime ago, I decided to try to analyse what makes up a 'good' relationship as opposed to what people call 'love' and I came up with a formula below, expressed in terms of my 'aims for today'.

1. To BE – THERE
5. To LISTEN: Empathetically
6. To keep things CONFIDENTIAL
7. To ENABLE & EMPOWER (DIY process)
8. To show POSITIVE REGARD (unconditional)
10. To FOCUS CARING (according to my principles)

It's only a theory but it has worked well for me over many years.

Best wishes

Angelicamarie : Thanks Bill for responding to love, in blogging it's interesting because
No two people will agree totally but it will make you think, thanks for sharing your principles. Have a wonderful evening bill, angelicamarie
winnie : Hi Angelicamarie,

Interesting blog..I don't have much to add I think Bill summed it all up..
iMacG5 : Hey Angel, I'm adding some thoughts I shared in the past.
Loving someone is different from being in love with someone. Remember when we were kids and fell in love about once a week? We didn’t know infatuation, probably couldn’t even spell it, and certainly didn’t care. We were in love. Most of us grew older, matured and actually fell in love. Some just grew older. Tennyson said “’tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all”. Dr Bella DePaulo disagrees but her definition of “better” is way different from Tennyson’s.
IMHO, to love someone is a wonderful experience. To be loved by the person we love is the most wonderful experience in life.
Just my thoughts,
Angelicamarie : Thank you imag for responding, and sharing the sweetest thoughts, have a great weekend ! Angelica
Angelicamarie : Thank win for responding to love, have a great weekend.!!! A
Hanaleah : I agree with everything you say. Love is intanglable, it is like a sweater you just put on. Yoko Ono wants said" Love is being relaxed with someone. If you are not relaxed and comfort with a person, there can be no love."
Angelicamarie : Thanks Hanna, for responding to love.good point, I love your comment. Angelica
