Best convex 1-piece for young woman?

This topic is about finding the best convex one-piece pouch for a young woman who wants a longer wear time. She currently uses Pelican drainable convex pouches but can only wear them for a day. She is looking for something more discreet and longer-lasting.

Here are some helpful insights and advice:

1. There isn't a one-size-fits-all solution because everyone's body and skin react differently. It's a good idea to contact major manufacturers for free samples and try out different options.

2. Hollister pouches are popular among some users who manage to get up to 7 days of wear when using a plain convex one-piece with a clip-on belt.

3. Dansac offers the NovaLife convex pouches. The Dansac model 841.37, or larger sizes, might provide better rigidity and a secure seal.

4. SALTS, based in the UK, is known for sending generous free sample packs. Their convex one-piece pouches are appreciated for their comfort and design.

5. For a two-piece approach, Convatec offers a convex flange that can be used with an Eakin Cohesive seal. Adding a bead of stoma adhesive around the Eakin ring and applying a thin layer of Torbot skin-bonding cement to both the skin and flange can help achieve up to 7 days of wear without leaks or irritation. It's important to remove the pouch slowly with an adhesive remover to protect the skin.

6. Coloplast pouches are noted for their excellent leak protection and may meet discretion needs, although they tend to be stiffer than some other brands.

7. Once you find a comfortable option, feel free to experiment with samples from Hollister, SALTS, Dansac, Convatec, and Coloplast. This will help you find the right balance of wear time, flexibility, and discretion without needing extra pastes or rings unless necessary.
