SLUDGE GRUDGE aka shiz happens.....
On occasion, I am awakened at wee hours by an ever-expanding pouch that requires emptying. I hate an interrupted sleep but grudgingly shuffle to the bathroom. I have found this task to be less daunting (probably due to a post by someone on this website) with this hint: before retiring for the night, apply an ample amount of baby oil to the ole' pouch. This allows a fast flush out with little residue dregs, helping to reduce sludge grudge cleanup issues. jb

I myself use the baby oil as well to help all slip slide on out the door. Very easy to clean up afterwards as well. No ileostomy lubricants do as well as the baby oil.
