I went through a lot of the same issues you are having since I had my ileostomy replaced with a BCIR in 2009.
I'm not sure what products are there now. Have you followed up with an ostomy nurse? They may be able to
help you.

I'm almost four months post-ileostomy surgery, and I'm looking to start rebuilding my core strength. I haven't been able to exercise for years, so I'm starting from scratch and want to be really careful.

One of my biggest concerns is overdoing it and increasing my risk of a hernia. I know core strength is important, but I'm not sure what exercises are safe to begin with. ...

Since my stoma nurse decided to let me trial my Coloplast SenSura Mio two-piece bags, I still have quite a bit of ConvaTec wafers and high drainage bags left over.
I would prefer to donate them rather than just throw them away.
So if anyone uses these and would like them, and you are willing to pay the postage, I'd be very happy to see them go to another home.

Underwent symptoms of a blockage this evening, started my usual blockage protocol, but then I slipped in a new trick up my sleeve. Hopped on my vibration plate and assumed some positions that encourage small bowel movement. Took about 10 minutes, and things seem to be moving. Whew, will keep this in the old playbook.

So I love to go swimming. Now that I have an ostomy I don't swim anymore. Tips recommendations, help me here open to all suggestions thanks!

I have lost track of whom, but for the last year or two, I have been informing Canadians they are eligible to receive a disability tax credit if they have a stoma that is non-reversible. I have a stoma and need ostomy supplies, which qualified me. I get it, and so can you.
