Five years ago, due to uterine cancer, I had an ileoscopy and uroscopy. The doctors chose to place the stomas together in one pouch. Within the first year, I was hit with E. coli and subsequently have carried ESBL bacteria. I'm wondering if there are others with this same ostomy setup and how they are doing.

Hi Wdillpic. So sorry you got no replies. Maybe it was because we're just not familiar enough with the prospect of two stomas in one pouch. I have no medical education or training but can only imagine the difficulties that might present. I hope you can get some help from knowledgeable people. Please keep us posted.
