After recovering from surgery, I know that surgical scars are a part of life. But I am walking around not able to straighten my back because the scar tissue and what feels like the abdominal muscles under the skin where it was sewed up are not able to stretch out. I was told about massaging the scar tissue, but has anyone experienced this and any advice to help minimize this.

I know when I had surgery, it felt like I would be bent over forever because of the tissue pulling. It did return to normal after healing but I know what you are feeling.

Thank you for the reply. I have started to stretch out a little more and my back is feeling better the more time passes.
