You are so right.  I will never forget this website and the people who have helped me.  I had my reversal in January of 2014.  I try and come on this website weekly to see if I can help or encourage other individuals get through the day-to-day process of life.

Hooray for you!!! Hope you are doing well! Can I ask you a question? Yes, you say?

Ok, since you have had a reversal and no longer have to deal with the fun of having a stoma, would that change whether or not you would be interested in a woman with one? Does it even make a difference to you now? Would it have before?

This is a tough one; how is he going to answer? If it does make a difference and he answers truthfully, he'll come across as a hypocrite. And who would want to be so branded? A conundrum, to say the least. But if nothing else, he'll be far more understanding than anyone without the experience of having had a stoma.
But I just noticed there have been no comments after Jan 17, 2013.

No, it would not bother me in any way. I simply understand that a smile, a kind word, or anything romance is built upon cannot be diminished by a stoma that in most cases is wrapped up all sexy-like. However, not to burst all your bubbles, but I only lasted 8 months before the pain kicked my butt. I now have a permanent friend on my side 24/7.
Happy but looking for pain help.

I sure didn't mean to put you on the spot!  Goodness, I didn't think that question through, apparently.  I do appreciate your answer.  I wouldn't have found you to be a hypocrite if you would have answered the other way, either.    Sorry to hear you now have your permanent friend with you.  Maybe he will be tolerable and not always such a butt hole.

I would imagine that having "been there and done that, and bought the 'T' shirt to prove it" would make this guy even more tolerable than before. After all, having the "bag" doesn't have to be that catastrophic. "been there"
Good luck to you, guy.

That's the same reason I went from itchy22 to itchy 23. Great minds think alike, huh?
