Cardio Causing Pouch Woes - Any Advice?

1. Support Garments
- Consider using a Corsinel StomaSafe Plus compression wrap or garment to maintain steady pressure on the appliance.
- Try a regular ostomy belt or a wide elastic waistband. Some people find that using a belt alone, or in combination with a seal, helps prevent detachment.
- A general wrap or abdominal support band can also be effective during intense workouts.

2. Barrier Sprays, Wipes, and Sheets
- Use Soberderm barrier spray before applying the flange to enhance adhesion.
- Place Coloplast Brava Skin Barrier Sheets under the pouching system to protect against sweat and moisture.
- Apply standard skin prep and add extra elastic barrier strips around the wafer for additional security.

3. Tape Extenders and Seals
- Reinforce the edges of the flange with XL Coloplast Brava Tape Extenders.
- Always use a sealing ring under the wafer for added security.

4. Application Technique
- Warm both your skin and the flange with a hair-dryer before applying to improve adhesion.

5. Exercise Modifications
