What department does he/she work in? My PCP is at CC now as well as my neuro, all GI, and vascular doctors. I received a letter saying it's been too long since I've seen him. I think I'm about a year behind on seeing the ophthalmologist too, but after 3 surgeries in 2022, I'm playing catch up with all of life now.

Dear Everyone 😊🙏🏻☮️❤️👼😊🌈☀️🌹🤗👩🏻☀️
Hello! Hope your all, having a great start of your day! I have to say this place has been helpful in many ways and the people here, seem very real and mostly helpful in anyway! I usually don't bother anyone really and try to figure out different things on my own, but that is with common sense, but with experience definitely helps and I read stories and I have my own stories and it's been so much and it's nice to have friends here, who understand same kind of situation 😊
I think it's great when people help each other and who is helpful in different ways! I appreciate anything advice etc... Thank you all and very happy this site is here ! I hope you have a good day/night! I'm trying to figure out how to take care of me more then I used to as I think of others more then myself! I'm hoping your all having a great summer! Let's all help more and give a high 5 and all help and get together! 😊☮️❤️😊🌈☀️🌧

I think she just works all over the hospital. She's a hospitalist. I'll have to ask her. Her first name is Natalie. She's absolutely fantastic. She's also a wound specialist.

I get some morphine before they place the tube and that's helped. They use the lube too, maybe with lidocaine. And swallowing water with a straw while they place it. There's different thicknesses of the tubing, so you can try to ask for a skinnier gauge too. I had 18 gauge most recently and that was more comfortable than the thicker 16. It's still miserable though. The most recent time I started coughing and it came out my other nostril. Ugh!!!

Ha, you guys are savages. I was just miserable and willing to make everyone else miserable. I didn't realize ripping it out was an option. I'm glad I know if there is ever a next time. 0 stars for the NG tube for sure.

Don't be a sissy. I had an NG tube for 21 days straight. I did not like it, but I did not want to die either.

Indeed! For me, the NG tube was less than a week, but I am here to say so. Kudos to my ICU team!
