How to Quiet a Crinkly Bag - Need Advice!

This topic is about finding ways to reduce the crinkling noise that can come from ostomy bags. This noise can be quite bothersome, especially when it happens with even the slightest movement. Here are some suggestions that might help:

1. Consider trying different brands of pouches:
- Many people have found that Coloplast pouches, even the transparent ones, tend to be quieter compared to others like Hollister.
- Hollister pouches are known for being softer and longer, with a handy inspection window, but they are often noisier.
- Some users prefer Convatec pouches. While they might be a bit crinkly, their excellent leak resistance can make up for the noise.

2. You might also try lightly dusting the outside of the pouch with talcum powder. This can help reduce the rustling sounds.
