These pants work well with an ostomy. They are high-waisted, polyester, and cotton and have nice side pockets. The negative is the price. I only buy them on sale.
And one size larger to conceal the bag and give it room to grow.

Do they make pants for men too? I have been searching for 5 years to find high-waisted pants. I reverted to wearing braces, but the waistline of my slacks still restricts the function of the bag.
We can send spacecraft billions of miles out into the cosmos, but we fail miserably in producing bespoke clothing for ostomy sufferers!

I take part in these forums almost every day. They and the people that contribute to them have made all the difference in my having the courage to live a normal life with an ileostomy. In England, I have bought high-waisted pants from a company called Chums that go over my colostomy and have a drawstring to fasten the waist.

These are made by Spier & Mackay for a dressy day. Also, I always go one size up to give the bag room to grow. If you purchase anything off the internet, make sure the store has a good return policy: full refund if returned within 30 days. These are called high-rise trousers.
