Loss And A Broken Heart , My Miss Kitty - 3

   Many people ponder the viability of a long distance relationship and with good reason . I can tell you without hesitation that it works . My long distance is between

SIlicon Valley in California and a small town called Ballina in the West of Ireland , County Mayo to be precise. 

   I found the truest , most genuine Love I could ever have hoped for . I saw a photo cute lady on an Ostomate meeting / advice site . Her smile won my heart immediately . 

We wrote back and forth a few times and her open and adventurous attitude to life held me in her grip.  After a few texting sessions and emails I wound up traveling to New

York to visit my Sister . I use a different phone when in the US with a different phone number .  I then visited my Sister in DC for a month and neglected to let my new penpal

in on the phone number change. With all my traveling I was preoccupied with family and some new additions to the extended family . Someone is always having a baby in my large family . 

When I finally got to California I added my new number to the Ostomy Site through which I had contacted my new friend .  There were two messages on there waiting but the timing was

bad . I was just getting on the road to Reno Nevada where my Nephew was going to show his souped up Hotrod at the Hot August Nights  car show . 

    An hour into the trip my phone vibrated and when I opened my messages I was so happy to see that my new friend had contacted me. 

We texted and spoke for the rest of the trip from San Mateo to Reno . I didn't fully understand yrt that I had just met the true Love of my life, Kitty .

Almost exactly three years later I have now lost the Love of My Life . My heart is broken and my life has changed forever . The lives of her young Son and Daughter have been ripped asunder 

by the loss of this wonderful Mother.  If not for my concern for her wonderful children I would have no desire to continue with this pain in my heart .
