Hello. My name is Michael. I had colon cancer, then radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery resulting in a permanent colostomy in 2016.

After getting to know a few folks here, like me it took some time to adjust and accept the reality of our condition. What makes things more challenging for us is when discrimination occurs at work or outside work. Today I focus on fighting discriminatory acts by addressing the legal aspects and by bringing awareness to people on the outside.

I'm not an attorney, but if you have faced discriminatory acts, like termination from work, I understand how you feel and maybe I can help you fight for your rights. I'm here for this reason and to share or if you want to talk I will listen. Think positive thoughts! and know I'm here as your friend. Michael
